Experience shaped inside the Texas legal system.
Chase Worthington Butler is the founder and trial attorney of Butler Trial Law, PLLC. Licensed in Texas since 2010, his career has been built around contested matters, courtroom advocacy, and the preparation required to give clients a clear position.
Chase began his legal career as an Assistant District Attorney in Bexar County, where he developed practical experience evaluating evidence, making decisions under pressure, and presenting cases in court. He later entered private practice and has represented individuals and families in disputes before Texas judges and juries.
During law school, Chase served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Emilio M. Garza of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and as a staff writer for the St. Mary’s Law Journal. Those experiences reinforced an approach that still guides his work: understand the record, identify the real risks, communicate candidly, and prepare the case as though it may be tried.
At Butler Trial Law, Chase leads the legal strategy and client relationship. Clients work directly with him while a focused team supports the investigation, organization, drafting, and follow-through behind each matter.
